addicted
My son-in-law asked his eldest daughter aged 9, "Mollie, What are you going to give up for lent?. Mollie looking somewhat glum replied, What are you giving up Dad?. He replied "Well I'm giving up chocolate and wine" Looking even more downhearted Mollie replied "I suppose I'd better give up chocolate too and Doritos." Younger daughter aged 6 had been listening closely to this exchange and when Dad asked her " Phoebe what are you going to give up for Lent? quick as lightening she replied "Lent" Carole
Polly
I gave up the ‘f word’ last year. Paid £1 for every failure and raised £20 for charity. Might do the same again.....backsliding has occurred through the year. 😋
Chelsea14Ian
If I did that think I'll need to take out a bank loan
Paul
I've given up tofu, couscous and quinoa (whatever that is) for Lent. I know I'm being brave but think it's worth the effort.

Paul
Personally I'm still reeling from the shock that Polly has ever uttered an expletive.
