Otters Or Beavers Returning

Will Otter's or Beavers be returning around the Broads in the near future?

Otters already here. 
As for beavers, since the Broads are largely man made and I think beavers have been gone for a very long time, is there a place for them?

And the otters seem very controversial at the moment, some blaming the depleted duck, coot numbers on them.

There are already otters but I don't know about beavers or even if they used to be common here in the past to be honest

I've seen plenty of otters at various locations on the Broads, especially the Ant and Fleet dyke.

Not seen any Beavers in ages now

Being totally serious, this introduction is within very few miles of the upper reaches of the Wensum, Nar and Wissey. It is perfectly feasable that we will see the critters dropping trees across Norfolk's navigations within a few years.

They would just love it around Belaugh!

There is already a beaver on the broads.

When we was on our hols in Oct moored up at the ferry Inn Stokesby seen an otter opposite the pub reed side of the river swim down stream to the corner of the moorings lost sight of it after that but the little one took pictures when she gets home ill get her to send them so I can post them on here for you to see

When our home moorings were in Hoveton we had a resident otter that used to treat our bathing platform as his dinner table often giving us the added job of cleaning up the fish scales (which stuck like glue) when visiting the boat
