Hi all, I’ve been a reader of this forum for many years and have enjoyed all the holiday tales, info and particularly the pics. We have just returned for our latest hoilday on the Broads and the withdrawal symptoms are already kicking in, so decided to bite the bullet and join at last!

I’ve been holidaying on the Broads all my life and have spent many fantastic holidays here, the latest was 11 night aboard Monaco 1 , sadly  I had to hand it back on Friday 23rd, trying to think of all the boats I’ve been on tonight, I can’t remember them all and had been too young at the time to know but a few are - Star Searcher, Star Corsair, Ultimate Gem, Saucy Gem, Amber Gem, Queen of Hearts, Plymouth Harbour, Amber light, Yare Moonlight , Yare Sunset , Yare Sunlight (Brister craft) ,  Moonraker (moonfleet marine)  various Connoisseurs, Fair Viscount, Fair Countess, Fair Royale, Monaco and probably a few others I’ve forgotten, sure there was more Gems.

Had a great time aboard Monaco with fantastic weather, been home a day after a nightmare 13 hour drive home (Just south of Aberdeen , traffic was horrendous),  I’m a fulltime lobster and crab fisherman and own a 9m Cheetah marine catamaran , bit of a bus mans holiday for me but I’m boat obsessed 😂

We were moored beside Forth Bridge , Broads01 a few times last week but never had the opportunity to say hello 😂 and  Broad Ambition came out of the wet shed at Richardsons on Thursday night as we were having a last paddle in the inflatable kayak before packing it away.

Look forward to finally contributing to the forum and sharing a few pics, I have thousands 😂

Maybe you were who Griff referred to as the best stern-on mooring he'd ever witnessed at Ranworth Staithe, on a Richardsons 45 ft? I think the date he said was Monday 19th? on his 'Broad Ambition Underway' topic. Lovely photos.

Thanks , no that wasn’t me, I can’t take the credit , we didn’t go to Ranworth this year 😂
