Just wanted to say thank you to you all for your good wishes.

As most of you know they let me out on Friday, so I was able to have a go at the quiz.

Looking forward to Polly's questions this week,

Bern

A great turnout for the quiz tonight, in joint third place with 10 points were BikerTov and Tiger Hawk, in second place with 12 points was Kpnut and the winner with 15 points was Arthur who will be the quiz master next week.

It was fun with all those folk.

For anyone thinking of giving it a go, there’s always lots of questions that everyone can have a punt at. Biker points awarded for ‘jumping the gun guesses’ and other things that make us laugh. Interspersed with a few obscure questions that have us all baffled. All done by typing in your answer before others reach for the keyboard, trying not to do too many indecipherable typos!

Give it a try. It starts just after 8.30 once we’ve had a good chat, and finishes about 10 with another break in the middle to fill glasses, put the kettle on, do whatever and catch up with each other about anything that jumps into our heads.
And occasionally the teddies are let loose when an injustice has been done 😂

Having somehow managed to win the quiz last week, I have at last come up with the topics.

Just got to think of some questions now.

ALL AT SEA

BRIDGES

RIVERS

Break time for about 10 minutes

ALONG THE CUT

BACON LICE

GENERAL IGNORANCE

Here's hoping we have as good a turnout as last week.

Great turnout last night, thanks to the competitors who I hope went away with some useful info. such as essex&suffolk being in Norfolk, pubs of the past, crazy seafarers, handy dates to remember and other random trivier.

My tie breaker question wasn’t needed yet again with a potential record double dozen score for Arthur, a respectable ten for second placed Steveo and Niko & Kate tied on five for third.

Tune in next week folks!
