Oh dear! Has the NBF gone belly up again or is it just me?!

Hi Kfurbank, Im sorry you feel like that but I dont see it as anyone being slagged off. I am simply voicing my perception of the NBF which I am entitled to do about any business organisation or company as I so wish. That is, if I feel something is wrong, I have recieved poor service or been unfairly treated so I dont really see where you are coming from! I have not attacked anyone personally and wouldnt do so online so "slagging off" id rather say expressing my disdain if anything.

Just been doing a bit of checking and the most popular thread on this forum in the last month is one about another forum!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm sure this forum is getting more visitors / lurkers at present because of another's problems so why not take part and start new constructive threads and let this go back to being an information thread as Jill requested 20 odd posts ago?

 

Now if anyone has advice on how to cure a noisy exhaust I'd be very interested.

Could we simply end this thread and start a new one called  "NBF update" so for those in the know can update the latest situation or those wanting to know - can find out what's happening. Otherwise the content of this forum starts to resemble the content of another forum when it gets heated.  It simply get boring basically

Your right there Dan and Daves point is exactly "the point" here. Kfurbank if you dont agree with someones opinion, why do you feel compelled to get the knifes out and start chucking them, We will have our opinion and you have yours, it really doesnt matter does it? So stop trying to ridicule someone just because they dont follow what you believe, thats the NBF you want for things like that.

As someone else has said, there is a facebook page for the NBF. I find it insulting that this site is being used in this way. Yes we are all here for the same thing but in view of current opinion I would lock it and then leave the subject alone alltogether.

Oh its the usual, fresh water collects somewhere it shouldnt, each time I think I have found the problem and fixed it, i leave the boat for a while and it returns, i am beginning to think it may be rain water but there has been times when it has gone away for long periods after I have tinkered even when its rained so im going to have to have another look. The joints are in the most awkward place possible behind the calorifier and I have to crawl over a waste tank to get to them, typical!! I have been and drained my water tank and calorifier today so I am going to go up with the karcher next wkend and suck the water out and see if it returns even with empty tanks, if not atleast I can rule out rainwater!

Was this thread started to provide information on the status of the NBF or as a seed to develop into a way of bringing up old grievances?

 

Jill a moderator I respect has already made comment as to the direction of this thread it will be a shame if it is locked.

Well before certain elements decided to post,   this was a very helpful post for anyone wanting to know exactly what was going on the NBF.     Please dont spoil it for the rest of us, who incidentally dont do 'facebook' or 'twitter' but are normal chaps and chapesses who are extremely grateful to the team on here for being so tolerant and yes (it is the season of goodwill - well for most of us) obliging.

 

I personally will be glad when the NBF is up and running and all of this nonsense disappears and we get back to how this site used to be.

Just been door next, no one is answering.  That picture of yours Jonzo, was it taken from Obi moorings, I moored there, if it is and took some pictures, not as good as that one though.   There are some nice sunsets there.  Sorry, completely off subject.

Oh bugger it's broke again!

NBF is up, but when I tried to reply to some comments it takes you to that orrible contact the webmaster page,,

I hope they can get it ALL sorted out for the near future :-/
