the cats have all abandoned the conservatory, unfortunately they think my lap  is a safe place.

I have to carry an inhaler with me at all times during the bang season.

 

Norwich council spends silly money on them rather than employing human

 

entertainment.

 

thinking out of the box was never their strong point.

 

a free Halloween variety  concert of some kind at the football ground would

 

be brilliant and much appreciated im sure.

4 days to go and we haven't got one yet, normally there a good few hundred in garage, could be a poor year for us lets hope JTF have some in Monday. too late to order the big boy ones.

It's been like a war zone the last two nights, but otherwise loopy oriental cat Cleo is completely unconcerned and baby visiting has slept right through them.

HI all ive just got a new kitten & she's not very keen on fireworks , we,ve got a tortoiseshell called cookie & she's quite a crazy kitty, apparently they've got something tortitude lol, & right at this moment she's trying her hardest to catch my curser on my laptop which ive got on my knee, lol. i just hope all pets are inside tonight, because some of them fireworks are like bombs,        lori

Up here in Scotland we had very few fireworks which suited my Bengal cat Zephyr very well. He spent the evening curled up beside the radiator. I think perhaps that fireworks have become so expensive that people here have stopped buying so many.

Here in rural Norfolk it was pretty quiet last night as we have a communal bonfire and fireworks night on Saturday.............. :shocked

Love fireworks but living so close to Birmingham we have them going off for about 3 months of the year right through to the early hours.

 

That is not the fault of the fireworks, that is down to the exactly the same thing as graffiti, loud music and smashed up telephone box's.

A good night last night, nice clear night loads to see around only downside was not a bit of a breeze to clear smoke from our fireworks. pies and peas spot on.

last night we had the usual neighbours, fireworks, pause for 20 minutes, Fireworks, pause for 20 minutes, Fireworks, pause etc- for about 3 hours. we finally figured it out, the nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes walk (there and back). Unfortunately at 1am there were still the occasional whizz bang  going off, but they had stopped when I got up just before 6am for work.
