Rumour that The New Inn Rockland St Mary's is to open today

There is currently a rumour going around that the New Inn is opening today.

Having looked on the local online press I can see no confirmation of this.

If the pub is to reopen again this would be good for all crews at the start of the season.

I hope it is not a rumour, we could make this one of our overnight stays when we are down at the Broads in just over a weeks time.

Any confirmation is welcomed.

Regards

Alan

Quite a number of places charge that sort of figure, so if it is good you have a choice!!

Pay up perhaps a bit more and have a pub

or

suggest they do it at lower prices and not haver a pub!!!

These small relatively isolated pubs just have to make money or they close - no one recently seems to have made a go of the New Inn which probably indicates the size of the problem but if they cut the price to say, £6.95, not a lot of margin in that I guess.

Bit of a cleft stick this one!!!!!

We went into the New inn  on Saturday 8th August 2015 and had a meal in the restaurant. The food was very good and we could not fault it in any way. Trawlermans bitter was on tap which was spot on. Whilst we were there from 6.30pm to 8.15pm we were the only ones in the restaurant which was surprising for a Saturday evening. The New inn is well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.
