Polly
It has come to my notice that a certain well known stinky accomplice and purveyor of stinky propulsion devices has seen the light. I understand that he has acquired both rags and a stick and plans to use them.

alexandlorna
Tis sadly true , how are the mighty fallen Once a champion of shiny red weapons of mass propulsion , now he stands looking out fondly over a pile of old sticks He dreams of silently cruising Barton broad , even God forbid ,a bit of tacking ! Its only a matter of time until he bans all us stinky types completely . This new mode of transport of his has become his obsession and often he mutters about Bluebelle needing a bit of tlc But this once stalwart of manly propulsion has a far darker secret for the wooden wonder was once called " Gay Lady " :taunt: Sorry J lol

Just keep the stinkie close by for when you get bored, it rains, there's no wind, there's too much wind, you get hurt (its not called a boom for nothing), something breaks and/or you just want to get to the pub today!

Polly
He has a pink saily hat, what more proof is needed?
MauriceMynah
Pink saily hat eh! Well then, all is not lost. When you tell me he has matching bobble hats for everyone onboard, then I'll know it's a lost cause. For now I'll just put it down to a phase he'll grow out of.
C.Ricko
is it wooden or fiberglass? auxiliary or as God intended? lets not pat him on the back too quickly
Polly
Wood of course, but not quite as God intended as there is an appendage at the rear that could provide forward motion. He says, however, he will rely on flappy things or quant. Good luck with that where the depth is winning over the length of the pole. I know he has a canoe paddle somewhere about, maybe that will find a home!
C.Ricko
As long as there is beer on board it may be best to tie up and wait for the tide to change..
alexandlorna
:blush:He was trying to hang the rags from the quant pole last week !
MauriceMynah
"As long as there is beer on board it may be best to tie up and wait for the tide to change.." If there's enough beer on board, best tie him up and wait for the boat to change.
