Luxury Day Boat

Some time ago I read that Ludham Bridge Boat yard were discontinuing their lovely Blue Moon luxury day /weekend boat.      Does anyone know where this went to.     We were thinking of hiring for a long weekend if a yard has taken it on.

However on their website it does still show as available and at £423 for two nights, three days . So maybe worth a call ?

Didn't Whispering Reeds have small weekend type cruiser? I know they sold their hire fleet but not sure if they kept this one?

I am fairly sure none remain at LBBY but as has been said, Whispering Reeds  have something suitable, probably HW do too, we took out a day boat there that was on the same plan as the LBBY luxury boats.

At Freedom, we hire our cruisers from any day to any day, so overnights are possible.    

 

In know you mentioned luxury,  but don't rule out Freedom pod. This is a brand new picnic boat for up to 8 passengers. Has a toilet, single burner stove, running water and radio/cd. Quiet outboard engine.  Just £130 a day wth overnight extension for just an extra £20 (will only sleep two / three people) .

Andy sorry but with the best will in the world at 70 I am not spending a night on that boat.   Ok when you are a lot younger but I do need to be a bit more comfortable.   Thank you anyway.

Whispering Reeds little boat was called Bittern, not seen it this season though.

Whispering Reeds Bittern is definitely still around, I tried to book it the other day but was told it was very popular and fully booked every day until late September.

That is good to know about Bittern,  may be next year if so booked up at the moment.

Well, if pod isn't your thing,  we should have a bare-shell refitted Siesta 20 next year for precisely this purpose.
