  1. Not to mention Broadview (great pint of Adnams Explorer) and The Red Herring (varies but sometimes Adnams plus a guest beer). Both places are very welcoming and really nice lunchtime watering holes. The Flying Dutchman served me the worse pint of Wherry in my recent 60-pub trail to get my 36pints of Sundew! Chiefly I'll miss those fantastic jam-sessions on Thursday nights at The Lady.... really professional guys enjoying themselves.
  2. And what a weekend it was! So many lovely people to thank for making the effort... 34 people and 10 boats made it! It was all worthwhile and particular thanks to the Happy Jax team. Any ideas for NYE?
  3. Is anyone travelling to their boat on Saturday, please? If so we would be most grateful if someone would pick up an Eastern Daily Press for us, please?
  4. Come on folks! Just received this from Natalie............. Thanks for doing that, so far we have only received 12 pre-orders including yours. Kind Regards, Natalie Coldham Hall
  5. Pleez... note there are TWO menus: the daily and the specials. You need to let Natalie know by TOMORROW (Thursday) at the very latest.
  6. And a further reason why we will never fly from that place again............
  7. Just a few more days to go! Have you all let Natalie have your orders, please? May I suggest that we start at 19.00 for 19.30hrs? That will probably help those of us who have to drive home later.

  16. Martin, Hi Just noticed this post, sorry. Yes, of course we can put you up for the night... when will you arrive?
  17. It will be interesting to see just WHO is extracting the water..........Water abstraction, the extraction of water from a waterbody.
  18. Surely, Barry, "other circumstances" should take a very poor second......?
  19. Might interest some of us......... http://www.boat-zone.com/2011/09/12/aro ... t%2520Tour
  20. The point I was trying to make was that the leccy points are all where the side-ons moor... so I thought some of the boats who want leccy might moor stern-on there. Hence my suggestion of rafting up.
  21. Yes, Gav, I've already spoken with Luke about it. It may be that the four side-ons will have to raft-up two at a time if that's possible so that some stern-on moorings can get at the leccy points which are all on the front moorings. I'm not doing a master plan like you so kindly did at Beccles as few took any notice anyway! We hope to be there by mid-afternoon Friday and so we'll play it by ear as it goes.
