  1. Couldn't you argue that it's to enhance the upper cylinder lubrication, David?
  2. Rich, Hi The speed limit through Reedham is 5mph and 4kts = 4.6mph; so you were below the legal limit and quite entitled to continue... However, with a 2-3 mph current against you would most probably been at displacement speed at least to achieve that... but it's completely legal! as it's speed over the ground that the BA quote.
  3. Do you really need one where you're moored, Jill?
  4. Just had a quickie visit by Luke and Claire in their new rib!
  5. It won't download...... just "times out"........
  6. You had me confused then, Martin... pity about the weather yesterday but I think everyone enjoyed themselves!
  7. I think it will be more than that tomorrow when you salties try to get here................... what price bath-tubs???
  8. Thanks, Jill. I gave it 50-50 and got it wrong!

  11. I really couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up to this little bird on our pulpit this morning! She sat there for about 5 minutes watching the world go by and occasionally preening; then dived into the river and landed back on the bank just abeam us.... would you believe that my camera battery then packed up and she'd gone when I replaced it...
  12. Look for a British Seagull on e-bay!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/seagull-outboard- ... 3cb8a97e7d
  13. Carol, Hi Sorry but we left the WRC for another cruise early on today; perhaps if James is viewing this thread he might help?
  14. Yes, we are, Howard. just for the two of us and the dog!
  15. Just been sniffing around 1B and she's definitely an aft steering boat which looks original... this doesn't tie in with the diagram...

  18. Carol. Hi Here's what James had to say when I sent him the old brochure earlier today: thanks for this John lovely boat, but she keeps sinking :-( she needs quite a bit spending on the hull as she's sadly been bodged a few times James --
  19. What?? If the propeller breaks due to hitting something then that's just a fact of life. I just don't see how you can be blamed, Lori, let alone charged....... It sounds anything but reasonable.....
  20. Great idea, Keith... I'll put it into practice next time in Norwich/Loddon (don't moor at GH).
