  1. MM am no laughin, no way Last year I tried the no socks on the plates of meat, and ended up with two infected upper feet. My reason is medical also. Psoriasis plaques. So you are not alone MM, I too will have socks on, if I have my slip-on sandles on. Iain.
  2. Oh am not going back to my mud hut in Jurassic Park, Grace, the natives are b*****y dangerous there, and that was just Alan R/B. The king bee there was an Archiologist by the name of Timbo, he and a creature called Uncle Albert that lived with him! He may have a few pics for you in 3D though! Iain.
  3. The one special thing I miss, is sitting at the Bridge Inn at Potter Heigham watching the Pilots earn their candy taking the boats through in the time period that was available to them. It sure was busy in those days! Iain.

  7. I know Norfolk is a bit of a backwater Martin, but, doubloons for payment. Will that bloke at Wayford accept such payment? I would have thought it would be pieces of silver or gold dust! Oh, don't forget to take bird food, to feed the yard parrot! As for gardening, I leave SWMBO to do such duties! Iain.
  8. With a problem last night with our server I was unable to carry out FULL edits if required. If this confuses members with certain replies, sorry, my fault, but its done now! Iain.
  9. As a scooter user, the bigger ones are capable of a good 8mph, whereas my travel one is 4mph. The bigger ones are allowed on the road I believe, but for the life of me I think its madness to go there! I am more than happy trundleing along the pavements dodgeing prams and pedestrians. The crossings though are not allways of good quality and yer back is hammered by the vibration of the blind pimpled pavement slabs, ouch! This has got absolutely nothing to do with this thread but I read scooters were mentioned! Iain.

  25. Hi fellas, oh and Grace I didn't name her Esmarelda "Gracie" Marcos, for nothing! I have very little choice in footwear as my old plates of meat go up n down like a yoyo. So generally its non slip trainers for getting on n off the boat. Steering I have my slip-on cumfy slippers on! I am however, looking for a pair of blue/black or white boating pumps just now but have to be EEE wide fitting and size 11! See I bring my own boats with me! Iain.
