  2. Hi Scott, Welcome to the NBN forum. As Alan said, please do put pics of the event on here, I am sure there will be lots of interest. Our ex coxwain in Troon, is at present up in the Shetlands at a lifeboat bash . A couple of boats in at the harbour in Lerwick. Iain
  3. Know wonder Alex and Lorna's boat is called " Braveheart " moored there ! When LBBY hired day boats in the 70's it was pantomime time coming through that bridge! Iain
  4. That takes me back to the early eighties. It could take quite a while to negotiate that bridge due to the sheer weight of traffic! Must say, that IS a first, a boat stern on at those moorings ! Iain

Having carried out a fair bit of electrical work in both hotel a resteraunt kitchens, the amount of stainless steel in view, the different fridges and freezers with digital temp showing, in the modern eateries, there should be no excuse not to be at least 3 but in truth 4 or 5 with all the modern equipment available to keep food fresh and in its proper place.   10. I had a similar experience at Beccles, thankfully by the morning the tide had dropped quite a bit, it was in mid October. Iain Ah, so the M25 is now a boating lake as well as Britains largest car park !

  20. Oops we have slipped back doon again! We were 26 not that long ago after defeating Croatia twice, including on their own midden! I do like the English Mars addy, it all adds to the fun I hope, in France. Iain
  21. 23c again today, not a cloud in the sky, with pilots learning to fly around Prestwick Airport. Easy Jet, Ryanair and a dull grey painted that I could see no markings on? Assume military. Time to get the factor 30 looked out ! Iain
