  1. Once again have a really smashing time and don't forget to take lots of photos. With the Boss and the Mods away maybe we can get up to some mischief on here lol. Grace
  2. That would be one hell of a mole, can see it now, new film release Attack of the 50ft Mole lol. What make of Boat is that? Grace
  3. OMG Mick that is a fantastic fish, makes my PB look like a minnow ha ha. If I hooked something like that it would probably frighten me half to death, how long did it take to land it and how much did it weigh? Well bloody done Grace
  4. Hi Mick We are also anglers and fish local lakes that are not affected by the closed season, would never dream of breaking the rules and fish rivers in that time. I see that you carp fish with boilies, we fished a local lake the other week and I caught my record carp of 13 pounds and 7 ounces, I was so excited but made a bit of a mess getting it to the bank and my arm ached afterwards Lol, I caught it on a size 14 hook with maggot as bait, luck rather than skill me thinks. Grace
  5. Enjoyed it very much, thank you for sharing it Grace
  6. This is a smashing read and must admit to feeling a little envious. Always wanted to moor past the pubs at Coltishall, it's so beautiful there. I am on a health kick at the moment so please don't tell us what you had for lunch Lol Grace
  7. Have just been watching the web cam and witnessed the babies being fed with what looked like a dead mouse or rat or something, absolutely amazing. Grace
  8. "I'll put some pics up just erm gloat..!" Very funny, I liked you once : Grace
  9. Sounds just like my mum. To hell with the cold you'll be on the Broads just stick an extra jumper on lol. No not going to the boat unfortunately got one of those family get togethers, you know the ones with the Aunts and Uncles you haven't seen for years, oh dear can I come with you. Grace
  10. The photo at Salhouse is lovely, really enjoyed reading too, is there any more coming? "is this the way to Norwich please?" excellent, how dare they mess with the Admiral Grace
  11. Alan don't go buying a new boat at the show you can't do em up lol, you would be lost without a project. Have a lovely weekend Grace
  12. :clap Now I'm worried, I can dish it out but can't take it, did I mention I am extremely fond of you Lol Grace
  13. Iain, I think you're being a bit teased here because your Scottish, don't worry I am here to defend you, but please put some knickers on when you wear those skirts, oops I mean kilt. Grace
  14. Understand where you're coming, if it all gets too much I could take over the improvements for you, wouldn't get much work done though especially seeing as you are moored on the Broads and you have a pub on board Grace
  15. Thanks for the reply Mark, so you're on the Broads are you, it's so easy to go off people when they brag you know, I'm not jealous honest Lol Grace
  16. I am loving this holiday tale and the pictures are great, bet the row in the dinghy at dusk was fun, keep it coming with more pics please. Grace
  17. Alan, I don't think going to the doctors will help, once we are lured into the world of boating whether it's project boats, hire boats or private boats you are lost forever lol. Great pics once again, keep it coming, can't wait to see her finished Grace
  18. Well said Andy, couldn't agree more Grace
  19. Hi Alan (JawsOrca) Things did'nt go according to plan regarding cruising unfortunately, but ended up at the semi waterside one as you described, as it wasn't too far from the marina and bloody hell we should have taken body guards in with us. My husband is a 3rd Dan Black belt in Shotokan Karate and he felt intimidated lol The Malta Inn is lovely we went there a couple of years ago by car, hopefully if things go according to plan next time we will give it a go. Thank you for great advice regarding Moorings and the locks, very helpful, we went through the lock just before THAT pub and had a good laugh if I am honest, I actually came out of the cabin Grace
  20. Hi Brian I noticed the mini eggs chocolate in the car, good to see you've got your priorities right lol Grace
  21. Have a lovely Easter everyone Grace
  22. Alan (Ranworth Breeze), I will come out of the cabin when we are safely through the locks, but will probably have to have a glass or two of wine to steady my nerves and just watching those boys work the lock is exhausting Grace
  23. Alan, I think I know the one you mean we have a friend of a friend who fell in at that lock, to make matters worse it was a hot day and people were enjoying the weather watching the boats go through the lock, luckily he wasn't hurt but extremely embarrassed. I think that's probably the reason I hide in the cabin ha ha. Grace
  24. Thanks once again, will phone Bridge Boatyard and maybe head that way if we can bag a mooring. Know what you mean about the locks, having said that hubby and sons do all the work I just Hide in the cabin lol. Grace
  25. Thank you Alan, sorry for another question but are there public moorings available at East Farleigh? Grace
