You are so wicked Alan, you are the very sort of person I hide in the cabin from when hubby comes into moor at the pilot station at Wroxham Bridge lol I find Ludham Bridge to be entertaining at times, only when we are safely moored up though, glass of something nice and just watching, heaven Grace

Alan, why may I ask would it have anything to do with me? I don't watch it all of the time, just sometimes and anyway you have to show support for these cameras other wise we wouldn't have them would we, well that's my excuse anyway. While I am on the subject you have to watch out for unruly behaviour from those pesky private owners and Forum members, who should know better. If I was on other shall we say places on the internet I would then report them to all and sundry and get in a raging debate about Hirers versus Privateers lol and for the record I am only kidding Grace

Hi Howard So glad you had a lovely time, know how you feel about Swan Craft I feel the same way about Richardsons, Won't do any harm to have a look at Viscount, San Fernando and San Marino all similar to Swan Royale I believe, I think Clive should take me on as his bloody PR Assistant if you ask me lol. We have tried a couple of other Yards in the past but always come back home to Rickos, so any suggestions are going to be a waste of time me thinks Grace Grace

Hi Alan Sorry to read that your sonic drive thingy (whatever that is) was faulty, hope you get it sorted, I did stay up and watch the match, had a bet with my son's that England would lose and won a fiver, didn't have the heart to take it from them though lol Grace

Has anyone looked at the Peregrine Falcon's recently?
Gracie replied to ranworthbreeze's topic in The Broadscot Lounge
Wow....that's something that doesn't happen every day, really enjoyed reading it, thanks for posting Grace -
Loving the picnic basket idea, you could have the whole package in the price of the hire, strict instruction the helmsman must not drink alcohol (more bubbly for the lady), of course it would depend on the cost of all of this and if people are prepared to pay for it but I for one wouldn't turn down a romantic trip on the river. My brother proposed to his now wife on salhouse Broad in a rowing dinghy he hired while on holiday at sunset she was bowled over by it. Perhaps silly ideas but maybe worth some thought Iain, what's wrong with buck fizz from Aldis.

I think it's lovely, great for a summers day with a loved one and a bottle of bubbly Grace

A beautiful picture Howard, I won't ask if you are having a nice time , clearly you are. Been following your very informative write ups about the Ales available in the Broads pubs you have been visiting, I'm surprised you aren't hung over most of the time with the amount of beer you drink lol, Only kidding, have one for me Grace Grace

Broads Pubs details & locations using Google Maps
Gracie replied to ranworthbreeze's topic in Broads Chat
Haven't noticed any errors but would just like to say a huge thank you to Alan and Jonzo for another great addition to the Forum, loving the street views and maps. The links to the websites are great for checking out the latest menus and helps with getting a Broads fix Don't know how long it takes to put something like the pub thread together but very much appreciated, well done guys Grace -
Hi Tony so pleased to hear that, it must have been a horrible couple of weeks for you. Grace

CARACRUISER ForSale €5000 and offers!
Gracie replied to Doco's topic in Boats and accessories for Sale
Totally agree with Jaws, I would imagine the decision to sell her didn't come easy Grace -
Hi David A very warm welcome from me also, you won't go far wrong with Richardsons, top yard and boats in my opinion. We have hired Clear Gem similar to Magic Gem I believe, a slight difference in the layout but smashing boat for what you pay Grace
-
JTF, Have a lovely time, I would row (with an oar) with you anytime, pm sent Grace

To say I am a little jealous is an understatement lol, the stretch of river from Wroxham to Coltishall is in my opinion the most beautiful and to have a nice beer at the end of it, bliss. Grace

That so reminds me of our first mooring attempts, we too fell out a couple of times, our first stern on mooring at Ranworth Staithe still brings me out in a cold sweat it took at least five or six trys with every one watching, we left it for at least an hour before we went to the pub for lunch as I was doing my thing of hiding in the cabin lol Sorry to go off topic Grace

Hi Speedtriple, I think they were called York Marine, it was a long time ago, about ten years now I think, they closed down soon after our holiday I believe. It's a lovely river but not like the Broads regarding pubs and moorings. My first experience with those bloody locks (not a great fan of them) and two weeks was long enough. I am not running it down it was beautiful in places and cruising through York was amazing. Grace

Sleep under the stars: RSPB site offers chance to camp out
Gracie replied to ranworthbreeze's topic in The Broadscot Lounge
What a lovely idea, many a time we have stayed up till the early hours on hire boats on the Broads just watching and listening, with the odd glass of wine thrown in of course. Just like to say thanks Alan for all the info you post on here and no that's not sucking up to a mod for a like, it's genuine lol Grace
