Could Richardson's get any better
finny replied to donnygeoff's topic in Local Broads Business Promotions and Information
The very few leg over boats available for hire on the broads can usually be found moored at the green Horning and whilst I notice no "leg over" activity ......they do look very comfy which is a bit of a waste if you ask me ? finno -

Whenever we have tried to book a boat with a independent seating arrangement we have found it to be fully booked .personally I think there is a market for more - I likes to get me leg over ?? Finny -
Its got a bit diverse has this fuel consumption topic - the weather also plays a very big part in fuel consumption......if its a tad chilly Mrs finny has any warm air like a blast furnace ....and most of the time which surely would put a dint in any fuel deposit flameonfin

Independent butchers all over the Northern broads get our vote for quality ,don't overlook the chap on Stalham high street (don't know the Name ) - does a great hot roast sandwich also Fattyfin

its perceived That Mikuni are slightly better in quality .I fitted a new Eberspacher D2 and it never gave me any trouble and to be honest I didn't even service it ....that said I did run it flat out most of the time .personally I believe which ever you choose the correct installation is vital Finny

Coos,Cars and Coo Coos...blame me for this weekends weather!
finny replied to Timbo's topic in The Broadscot Lounge
I actually changed a car because of run flat tyres when I looked at the small print you could not go above 50 - which is normal ..but it also stated not to travel over 40 miles on a flat which is no good to me if iam traveling 240 miles to Norfolk through the middle of the night . I also don't rate the Gel puncture kit . like Martin says it completely ruined a very good tyre (apart from a puncture ) so at £200 for a new tyre and another £180 to get the tyre pressure sensor valve fitted and re-programed it turned out to be a very expensive puncture i now bought and carry a spare on long distance flatoutfin- 15 replies

I only quote the report on the drive home that said it was local radio whilst the national news had more depth to the story later - it would be interesting who and what would define the term "exceptional case's" that said as a country the demand for energy is on the up and something tells me the whole topic of fracking for gas - well could be explosive in many ways Finny

Seems all National Parks are to be excused from Gas fracking - so I guess there is something good from being a member fartinfin

Its strange really - I more enjoyed "doing up " more than I did sailing my own boat ,I always said that if I won the lottery I would buy tired old girls ...give them a make over and then give them away ......for free .........mad I know but it would work for me fixupfin

Firstly ..Hello everyone .......most of you will know me anyway even though it's the polite thing to do . I don't post much these days but do very much enjoy reading about broads history and it's future for that matter but restoration projects and new builds really get my anchor swinging Many thanks Finny
