Fair point however I for one still think the water industry needs to be better organised. A bit like some closer to home.Supposely looking after our waterways.

I dont have a problem with a water meter.I do however have a problem with water companies inability to provide a good quality service.

Back home yesterday evening. This may help.Like most undergoing Radiotherapy. You need f50 sun cream and aftersun later.Think it was Tuesday suncream due to sweating got in my eyes.Sore for hours.I asked in boots if there was one for eyes. Thanks to a chap he looked on line. (See) photo not cheap, £20 but it works well only need a little.I put some on my forehead and eyes.

Another year,water shortages.The water company's,compline again that they try there best.Really no joined up thinking. We live in an Island surrounded by water,Water falls on us Oh then when it rains hard,they throw all the toilet water into the sea and rivers.

Close curtains or blinds Sweetkingfisher had large windows,and hot days with curtains open.It was like a greenhouse. I try not to drink to much beer,wine or spirits during hot parts of the day.Yes once it cools down.Drinks lots of water.

It's been perhaps very unusual to say the least.A mixture of treatments and sightseeing. It's my hope if possible that I can show others that Cancer is clearly a tough battle.But remain positive,do what medics tell you to do.Dont be afraid to ask questions,try to eat well,remember your family and friends. They often don't quite get it.Trwat yourself occasionally,and treat them too.Remember if you don't feel welk,get yourself checked.Dont ignore it.

Just got back ,think I need new lungs and legs.Good old, bad old COPD.Treatment tomorrow afternoon then home for the weekend,last one Monday.We will call into the city tomorrow morning before treatment.

A few photos from Ely.What I've found surprisingly,no buses from the train station. For many not a problem,but for ne it is.Got to the Tourist information, a lady there said a bus runs from Tesco,didn't see it. Anyway having some fome.Then will try and get to the river.

Thanks now heading back to the hospital. Tomorrow we are going to Ely perhaps by train.Takes about 20 minutes. Friday have to be out of the room by 11.00am.Treatment then at 2 o'clock,then home, last one next Monday. So far okay,mainly running on empty in the afternoon,but seeing the city and better weather helps.

A few more photos from the city. At present sat in Great St Mary's Church. Photos from the outside and I'm sat inside.Marina has gone up to the top.Sadly to many steps for me.Weather not as hot as yesterday. A very pleasant morning/ afternoon. Treatment later this afternoon.

Yes Jean I think Cornwall is close I'm my love of Norfolk. Just a bit hilly for me.Not a bad price to pay though.

Not worth taking a risk now.Most of us didn't take the sun seriously in years gone past.I now have to have lots of sun protection. That's what has to be done with Radiotherapy. you tend to burn quickly if there's little protection.Cancer is no joke

Just got back from our sightseeing in Cambridge. Quite a long day.Went on the hop on hop off bus.Good way to see the city.Perhaps the most almost overwhelming stop was the American War Cemetery. I went there many years ago.If you are there worth a visit. A few photos.

Latest info I have which is sadly no clearer.Despite Hemsby Lifeboat on the water.Police land based and Air Coastguard looking this person .Let's hope he is found safe .

So far thankfully few side affects. Only one headache last Friday Fatigue which is common with Radiotherapy. Will be nice to see a bit of Cambridge,I've been in the past.Marina has not just here at the hospital. Will post a few pics later

Arrived at Addenbrookes yesterday afternoon. Third day of treatment So far so good.Then went to our room.Basic but fine,popped out to get some food.Cooked chicken pasta,cream sauce,onions mushrooms and parmesan. Can still smell the onions. Think we were the only ones cooking.Down part think I only had two hours slept max Still not to worry.We will go into town,do a bit of sightseeing. No treatment today next one tomorrow. Looks like a nice day again. ☺️

Still no more news San said they've not been stood down yet.Must be a little worrying.
