  1. Sorry don't know what happened there.
  2. We saw this little chap just now.Marina saw one last year.We have lots of Kestrels near by.Chapmans farm is by the front of the house and runs along to the main road.I couldn't get to close,incase he flow away.
  3. Well been to Tesco Great Yarmouth,lidal and small shops.Not seen them.
  4. So Festival over for another year.Lots of nice comments about the garden and Bones and Duncan Disorderly. Even spoke to a chap this morning who had worked on Mermaid. Its a small world indeed.
  5. I've not seen any JR this year.Dont know what's going on.
  6. Went back up to the Village. Sadly only one photo. Had a problem with my mobility scooter.Overcast today with a little rain. Doesn't appear to be as many people today.
  7. Yes there is a map,available in the village. Quite a lot of people went past taking photos etc.Not sure how many Scarecrows. We went past number 40.All good fun and as if the village has woke after winter.
  8. Yes the Co-op is not the cheapest. However very handy for us.Two minute walk and stays open late.
  9. We went up to the village .We've got the only Scarecrow in our road.Some good ones in the village. Lots of stalls.Stoped for a drink in the village. First time in the pub.The pub was steady,but not busy yet not many tables.The pool table took up lots of space.I forgot to take photos,will take some tomorrow.

  11. Today and tomorrow is the Martham Scarecrow Festival. We saw it last year and thought we're take part this year.We started last week.Carried on most of yesterday. Quite pleased with the results.It was hard work.So we've also done bunting.We will call up to the village later. A video taken by Marina,more photos later. VID-20230429-WA0001.mp4
  12. Agree with Jean,yesterday was overcast with drizzle,and cool but not cold.This morning nice and sunny.Martham has the Scarecrow Festival. In the village the fanfare,lots of stalls. Feel free to visit spend lots of money and enjoy the weekend.
  13. No won't us Marina.Yes we very much liked our time at Cove.We decided because we live in Martham would be easier to moor at Stalham. If your up near by let us know perhaps we can have a coffee. Best wishes to you both. Ian and Marina.
  14. Today I had my covid jab.That makes five now.Last week I had a text to say I could book.So I phoned 119.They said I would not get one .Then phoned our GP surgery. They also said I would not get one.I checked because I had Radiotherapy I qualified. So I spoke with one of the Macmillan nurses. And yes my immunity is weakened. Then later we brought some spring plants ready for the weekend We are taking part in the Martham Scarecrow Festival.

  16. We've spent lots of money on Mermaid. If we moor there and the work causes damage to the boat.They will get a bill for work!
  17. Surely if there's any damage to your boat,private or hire.Then claim against BA.

  19. Brundall is a lovely place,but agree its not like Wroxsham. Also very sad another boatyard lost there.
  20. The bus would use the Latham's car park to turn back round.
  21. Thanks I've had a quick look.Not as yet all of it.I have sent some items across to Lorna in Hemsby .She is one of the people that has been involved in decisions regarding the coastal erosion.

  23. NYA at Brundall,but think you pay a fee each year.
  24. There was also one,Lens going back to his early life in Sidcup Kent.He went back to his old house.
