None it' was The NWT,I think two one in the info centre and one on the boat.They worked or volunteered for the trust.Nothing to do with BA.

We went to Norwich today for shopping. Lots of young people dressed for summer. Some gave up and put jumpers on.Some toughed it out.

Every blooming morning.They say nice and sunny and warm.Not here in Norfolk. It's not only Ray that's upset the weather,think it's all of us.

There is no hire craft now at Oulton Broad. WRC only have day boats now I believe.

There all worth visiting where ever you are on the broads. You can try a trip from Wroxham or Horning. Or a day boat from Potter up to Hickling or day boat from Wroxham. As I said anywhere on the broads is worth a visit.

There are some around wasn't aware they were on the broads.

Sad news Tina Turner has passed away.I was lucky to see her at the 02 in 2008.She was simply outstanding,full of energy. And one of the best singers and performers I have seen.My thoughts to her family and friends. RIP Tina.

We've owned Mermaid for a year now.

We called over to see the boat.Was hoping to fire her up.Sadly the battery is flat.So need to get that sorted.A few people stopped to ask where we got the boat painted.Lots of good comments. A few photos.

When we can need to smarten up the inside.We had the soft furnishings done last summer.Which looks good.Not sure how my treatment will affect me yet.

Alan sent Marina a photo of Mermaid. We've yet to see her .Has been lots going on.Hopefully in the next few days.She looks good

Many thanks to all of you.Theres no doubt I never wanted Cancer.That said I deal with it head on I take advice from the Medics.The care I received from all the hospitals is outstanding. I can't thank them enough. I enjoy the Macmillan coffee mornings each month at JP hospital. The nurses have become almost friends. It may seem strange to say,but it's easier for me with Cancer.Not so for Marina ,Nicola ,Alan and my family.Do I want people to feel sorry for me NO.If I can bring even a little understanding of Cancer.That would please me.Theres is only one big C.Thats the clarity here in the east,not sure if its nation wide.Its a drop in centre for those with Cancer,There's one in Great Yarmouth,N&N and one at Addenbrookes.Let's call it by name it's Cancer accept that and face it head on.Do I want a pat on the back no.If even in a very small way,understanding,helping others that's great.Am I out of the woods no,I remain positive,it won't get the better of me. Lastly my day yesterday. We got to the hospital early.So we went to the cafe there.We had coffee,I was enjoying 😉 a toastie.Part of a tooth dropped out.On the way home a phone call from Broadsedge. 🧜‍♀️ Mermaids gone back in the water,oh and I won £3 on the lotto.Now what to spend my winnings on.Its nice and sunny here,hope you all have a nice day.

I like both there's a little bit of scotch in me.Mainly single malt.However they told me because of where the Radiotherapy will be not to drink to much.

We got back home just gone 5.00pm. A long day,Got to the Hospital early,we never been there before.Saw the Doctor at 11.00am.She explained everything so next Friday MRI and CT scans,the see the Consultant. The following Friday One course of Radiotherapy. There's now one spot on the left one on my right hand.So they will treat both spots the review. Hopefully one course will do.We liked the hospital so much,we went back at least three times.We couldn't find our way back to the A11.Got there in the end.Its a big Hospital in a very big complex.

I've got used to it over the last two and a half years.I am positive and go with advice from my Consultants.They say one in two people will have cancer. Okay I've had two cancers,perhaps three.Think it's some ones else turn next.

I had a CT and MRI about four weeks ago.Which are follow up scans.I saw my Consultant on Tuesday,hoping alls well.Zac said my CT scan was fine.However my MRI on my head showed that the lump in my head had got a little bigger.He said he would send scans to the consultant s at Addenbrookes..He asked if I would be prepared to go there for treatment. My reply what ever he thought best.Todsy they phoned me,so we are going to Cambridge tomorrow to see the consultant,my have another MRI and not sure if I will have Radiotherapy as well.My appointment is at 11.00am tomorrow. Not the news I wanted,but I know what to expect.

Yes always interesting meeting one of these on the river.

My first holidays were from Martham boats in I think mid sixties. The one thing that sticks in the memory, the Locks and Susan the landlady.Also the coasters going up and down the river.Then next on the river in 1974.Indeed many things have changed,some not.Now I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
