I saw that Hemsby Lifeboat were called out 2.00am this morning. Was'nt sure at first if it was broads or sea.Photos posted appears to be Breydon.Air coastguard as well.I don't have any further details as yet. Will give info when I have more.

Marina and I finished plating trying to keep plants out of sun where possible. Some placed in the garage. Lots of watering, because we will not be home from tomorrow morning until Friday afternoon. Almost ready for tomorrow back to Addenbrookes.

Believe meso glad to see warm and sunny weather. For us in much of broad land;it bed pretty poor weather in the last few months. At last our garden seemed to have picked up.The growing was slow. It also feels better with a bit of sun.The only thing I have to be careful with is lots of sun protection and aftersun.This is because of Radiotherapy which makes it easy to burn.A small price to pay .So enjoy the weather 😎, lots of sun cream hat and lots of water.Not to much beer 🍺 or 🍷 wine.That includes you Gracie 😀 too.Save that until later in the day out of the sun .

I saw this on another Facebook group.I said raising the bridges there are two is as likely as me walking on the moon.I suggested do your homework and crossing is a joy.And yes more thought on boat design will help,but as I said homework care and insure all members on board know what there doing.

I've found it important to stay positive,which I think I've down.Dont get me wrong it's not a easy ride,but I've listened to Doctors,nurses etc.And take each day as it comes.The Macmillan nurses have also been a get support and are almost my friends. I intend to take part in the National Macmillan coffee morning end of September. Hopefully I can raise a few Bob for Macmillan.

We got home just gone 6.00pm.No cooking we called In the chippy.A long day.Strong course of Radiotherapy on the Left hand side of my head.Then first lower course on my right hand side.So far just one slight head ache.,and as they said a little swelling,where I was zapped. So back Monday for three treatments,home next Friday. Then last treatment Monday week.

My thoughts with you both.

May seem odd,but I think it's worse for partners and family.I just take things as it comes.

First course of Radiotherapy today.Thankfully back on Monday and Marina and I will stay there until next Friday,then there and back on the following Monday.I am upbeat,not much gets the better if me.I just want to get the treatment and results ASAP.

Lord Dannatt was Talking from Normandy this morning,on BBC breakfast. Plans in hand for next year D Day 80.What ever year worth remembering those that took part and the many that sadly lost their life

Hopefully , they said a week or so that it will hit 20c.About all we got here was 14/15c.I don't remember such a cold start to June like this before.

Why Am I surprised

Not cynical,all us boaters get in the way of paddle boarders,swan boats, wild life telephone boxes and anything else apart from boats.Perhaps I am a bit cynical. 😉

I think BA hoped that most of there fees would come from hire boaters.Bringing in fees just as the season started.Perhaps they don't care about private craft and long term hirers.

And it was all going so well until! Last week I had MRI and a Cat scan mask fitted ready for Radiotherapy. They found two tumours. Doctor felt one hit would be enough. Then yesterday I had a phone call from Addenbrookes ,they reviewed my scans again and felt one would be unwise so today cancelled re booked for next Friday just on the lefthand side.Then following Monday Wednesday Friday and the next Monday. One strong on left side,four reduced on the right side.Due to the one on the right being close to my brain stem. Not the news I hoped for,it is what it is.They have offered us both accommodation,problem is no room in the Inn for the cats.So we are thinking may be I'll spend some time there on my own. We're see how to do things during the week.
