Still not getting it Single malt every time for me.
When I first worked for Nat West A different world then. One of the butlers, was a Irishman called Jim.He would give me and the chef a gin in a tonic bottle. We had a lady called helen working with us one year when we was off she said to the head butler jim we didn't get our tonic.
May be wrong but most of this is down to the swimming event planed on 1 July 2018.I think this is going around and around. My view is this I have written to BA stating clear I feel it's in the wrong location. If you disagree and I am sure many will do then I would suggest you to do the same.To keep on with this post is to make it more toxic.
My first mate who's good at info compiles a info sheet each year.Alot of this is on the Forum. It contains some boat yard phone numbers, pub and restaurant numbers,BA ie Norwich, great Yarmouth etc.Bridge heights. She is updating this now.
For many years I was chair of a community group in Thamesmead where we first lived when we got married. It was lively to say the least,at times my views were not the same as others. Some debates the toys came out of the pram. However all sides shared there love and care for the community. It's my belief the same here.Ricardo I am glad you are still here,I agree with others before anyone leaves stand back and give it time before you go.

I think by and large it is a friendly place.Yes it does get heated sometimes and some comments get a bit near the mark.I have said before the purpose of a forum is to have different views. There are times I will disagree with members then agree on other topics. Its a shame anyone feels they need to leave. Its been said before why not take time out.
By the way welcome to the Forum. Depends where you want to stop, close by Reedham has two pubs the post office.Stracy Arms on the north side.Really take your pick.In the main we travel for 2 to 3 hours before we stop for a Breck or overnight stop.
Sad News it's just been on the news that Ray Wilkins has passed away.As a Chelsea fan I saw him play many times,to date he was the youngest ever skipper of the club.He was a great player for us,then played for Man Utd.Played also for England. Later he came back to the club.Sadly he had problems with drink. He passed at such a young age .My thoughts go to his family.
RIP RAY
At present during the year I get fuel, pump outs and gas.Once in a blue moon water.Being moored at Cove I rarely need water at Brooms.May well in future limit my stops at Brooms.
I agree always had good service from staff, just feel top management don't feel the same. When I can in future will get fuel elsewhere. I'm not mean my water as well.
