  1. To use that as a reason for payment would be discrimination and if wearing a skull cap or turban would be classed as a hat crime.
  2. Yeah I've seen that video on YouTube Griff, you could have worn some panties ffs ! Reminded me of a labrador with it's tail up. (Entirely fictitious rumour I must add) (Or is it...) Sorry folk, you can't unthink that image.
  3. Bobbin' about on the river, ie boating.
  4. Of course I'll have a nice day, I'm going bobbin' once I finish work at 12.00, and after a drive to norwich, ok sometime this afternoon I'm going bobbin'. (all the way to a pub, then I'm going stoppin')
  5. Oooohhhh what are you saying about Gracie? Wine has never needed a reminder list...
  6. A new prop from clements usually gets a free re-pitch if needed to back up above advice about first time luck, even the pros recognise that. They don't pay for the lift and launch though.
  7. How do you get the map .qct file into the app with that version?
  8. Surely a fire is far more visible after sunset, they kind of have a habit of being quite bright and burny... If has has BCU membership he won't need a toll for a canoe.
  9. Which version of memory map are you using? I didn,t think the older maps worked on it any more, I have to stick to version Navigator 5.1.3 on my pc to use my maps.
  10. The MMTracker app I sent is unsupported by google play store as memory map threatened the original developer over copyright, someone else took it over on xda developer forum and is pretty good at sorting glitches and adding features, he did quite a re-write for me to get it back on an old tablet. I think that was the latest incarnation I linked to, the zip is stowed on the website I look after.
  11. That's handy to know, I can just use my anchor then, much better for that sort of bottom.
  12. Looks like they may have moved a burning boat but not quick enough, to be fair the white smoke looks like mine on a cold day startup, hence the username. I know the moorings, got to feel for them.
  13. I have offline 1:25k OS maps on mine and view through MMTracker.
  14. All 3! The middle one is especially painful when you get it wrong.
  15. Have a chat with Paul at Clements he knows his stuff pretty well, he told me what my early 80's boat was fitted with from new and re-fettled my props and they were spot on, as said new props have a long lead time as they are usually cast and machined to order. I didn't think steel developments did much with shaft drive props, always thought they were more outdrive/outboard and repairs.
  16. A good cleaning trick is to leave it hanging on enough rope to jut be in the water and run for a while, you will get a few folk point and shout your mudweight is down but that is part of the fun.
  17. Main thing before chucking mudweight over is MAKE SURE THERE IS A ROPE ATTACHED, sounds daft but seen it done, and attach the other end as well in case it follows it in, seen that done as well. Didn't laugh though, honest! (lie)
  18. It's why I like the southern rivers, wouldn't recommend them though as there's dragons and things down there.
  19. What voltage did you plug him into to get that effect?
  20. New builds are supposed to have car chargers as standard but no requirement for solar panels, sheer stupidity!
  21. If on southern rivers the train can be your friend as well, stations at brudall/cantley/reedham/somerleyton/beccles/oulton broad, oulton is an easy train ride into lowestoft giving you the beach as well. If slow on your feet I would rule out rockland playpark as it's a steepish hill with narrow footpath so not good for a mobility scooter (and I wouldn't use one on the road there). Electric bike is a great idea, even a regular bike is far less effort than walking and lots of the places are flat.
