  1. Once knew a guy who fitted new HT leads at every service!
  2. Hard to comment not knowing what was spent on what.
  3. Glad you enjoyed it. The menu recently under went a few tweaks here and there and a few of the ale pumps cant be seen from the food side so you have to ask what is on offer or pop your head in the sports bar to see them (why do pubs do this?) Yep you are correct about the "last of the summer wine" old guys being in there who with others have returned since The Ram in the villiage closed again and I am glad you remembered about the I.O.U but fear we may have to meet in either the Kings Head or The Shoulder of Mutton before too long.
  4. My understanding is that it will soon reopen.
  5. Very, very high again in Brundall this morning.
  6. Hear what you are saying but councils up and down the country are cash strapped as it is.
  7. Its not just the office staff but how many people are employed at Yare house Griff?
  8. I am staggered to see that 74% of income is spent on the costs of salaries and pensions!
  9. You dont have to be a FB member, the BRAG pages are open to all to view.
  10. Dont ask either to attend for a wheel change.
  11. Wood tends to float, pumps tend to flood the inlet so not impossible that the wood is being drawn in and jamming the pump.
  12. Main dealer service and 12m breakdown cover for £205?
  13. On the subject on window vacs, I am very happy with my cheap Titan and after testing this morning I can say that it doesnt leak if used upside down.
  14. Found washed up this morning in a Brundall yard. Approximately 10ft long and two tone. PM me with colours and make if you think it is yours.
  15. Dont think two tier pricing is allowed grendal.
  16. https://www.independent.co.uk/money/why-has-car-insurance-risen-so-much-b2391334.html
  17. I dont know as I wasnt there but perhaps he meant three pints once a week over a year.
  18. Incorrect paperwork was the reason given.
  19. One of the aussie or american guys on youtube has covered the idea of using the burnt off waste gasses for heat.
  20. I made the same decision three and a half years ago when starting from scratch and they cost £100. Yes ditch the leaky exhaust which is designed to fit outside the lorry and have a gas leak moniter in the immediate area and also lag the pipes to the outlet vents with good quality lagging, We also changed the fuel line which may of been a mistake but I can live with that. It was checked during the last BSS by a guy who doesnt cut corners and he didnt bat an eye lid. It has served me well for all of this time often running for six hours or more every night during the winters without catching fire or gassing me but did deform a fender outside. Yes some imports were stopped by customs however I believe this was due to the paperwork not the actual items being dangerous and just remember to run it at maximum for awhile before shutting down which I believe is good practice for all of them.
  21. 100% agree with your last line. Many items sold in the UK are simply "Rebadged" under licence with the enclosed written instructions changed over. One in particular can be found in houses all over the UK producing heat and hot water.
  22. Plenty of videos online showing the same set up, others have the heater inside with the exhaust outside.
  23. Was the quote from the local indie guy or a main dealer type?
  24. If they believe that thay are in the right then they will not see a risk.
