Providing it is paint Barry, I am sure you can get a paint stripper that is safe on gel coat. I am sure nitromores do one.
Only problem I can see, it won't be Barry without the go faster stripe.
The idea of addng two stroke oil as an addative is a good one. However, if you add to much you will run the risk of glazing the bores and subsequently loosing compression.
Ian I think you are right 200-1 would be more than adequate.
I think we should all use Castrol R and bring the smell of the race track to the broads.
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Have to agree with what has already been said, forget the Yarmouth run if you only on the boat for a week. You will soon master mooring, just take it very slow.
Thanks for the suggestions Guy's
A good friend of mine put me onto www.paint4boats.co.uk They have everything you could possibly want at very very reasonable prices, as well as a great service. Well worth a look.
I went for seajet shogun 033 this time.
HJII is being lifted out at Johnson's St Olaves this weekend for a couple of weeks so I can antifoul. I also need to get the prop repaired/balanced due to a slight vibration since I picked up a keep net.
Does anyone know of any good deals for Antifoul in the Norfolk area.
Very profesional little tool there Mark.
Personally I have always used a draw tape and remove the old one first to measure before ordering a new one. I know smug git.
