Womack Water or Womack Dyke? Or perhaps the island? Personally I love the peace and quiet of the dyke. You can still walk to Ludham but it's so tranquil.

Ah, Fleet Dyke.  That'll be the tree that blew down on Easter Monday, narrowly avoiding crucifying a couple of Richardson's cruisers.

We were moored almost exactly there only a week or two earlier in March. As was the private boat at the end which looks like the same one we saw there in March this year and October last year, just moving position up and down the dyke.

Larkhnau, I think that boat is called.  Guy lives aboard it and generally moors/cruises around South Walsham, St Benets, Potter Heigham area.  Bit of a loner/hermit type.

Yes it was Lakhnau... Doesn't look like moving far!  Sailed slowly up to Salhouse today and then back to Cockshoot... Heading for Barton tomorrow...

Different breed but he used to flop on the boat just like that.

Our corgi lay under my feet when I was at the helm. He did not like swans though! Short as the legs were, he would try and get out of the centre cockpit in an Aston Norwich class to have words with said swans !
