Today I had two new crew members on board. Dylan took a stint on the helm, whilst Megan had other crewing duties in addition.

Yes, I agree - and the best thing about today was that I had my son ( their dad) on board. Undoubtedly the best crew I ever had!

What an absolutely delightful little crew you have there, Pops  Future generation of Broads Helmsman (and lady) even if they are learning to sail a flappy thingy lol, just beautiful and made me smile, thanks for posting

Good idea, start them on the tiller of a flappy and let them build up to a pair of big volvos when they mature.

We were. Run up to Thurne, lunch on the EACC moorings.
