I'm up to the boat this Saturday but she won't be cruising.

Will be spending the night on board and then driving to Snetterton Sunday morning for the British Touring Car Championship, anyone else on here going ?:14_relaxed:

My least favorite date on the whole calendar, but guessing Sheddon will be favorite for pole, race day not so sure.

Well, I really like it, far better from a photographers point of view than Rockingham or Silverstone :10_wink:

Very nice Zephyr six ? or is it a four cylinder ?

It could have been the Consul, Zephyr or Zodiac, these were a big car in those days with the large Wolseley or Austin Cambridge.

In the early 60s we had a Wolsley 6/99 and when the ambulance took me into hospital at 3.00am to give birth to my daughter, my husband followed in the car. Halfway there the ambulance man in the back with me called out to the driver "Hey Bert we've got a police escort for this one, mistaking our car for a squad car because of the illuminated emblem in the upper centre of the radiator. We often used to find ourselves going everywhere at night at a snail's pace because vehicles in front mistook us  for  a police car

Its a '57 Zephyr Zodiac with the 2.5 on an Aquaplane triple. (wearn't allowed the Raymond Mays because that came out after 1959)

We stopped at the end of the 2014 season.

The car is now in Finland competing in classic rallying.
