Newbies here. First time on a hire boat. Very stressful when it comes to finding a mooring. Can't seem to get near Wroxham. Any help appreciated

You can use some of the hire yards when they are not busy. Sunday evening should be ok. Barnes right hand side as you go up into Wroxham. The other is the left turn before the day boats that are just before the bridge.

If all else fails, look at Summercraft's moorings. They usually have space when all the others are full.

Welcome! If your boat will go under the bridge (you will have to use the pilot) there are usually moorings free the other side, a bit quieter too if staying over night but within an easy short walk of all that Wroxham has to offer.

That's a reasonable shout David but not on a Friday or Saturday. I made the mistake of asking to stop there for water last year (with plenty of space to do so) and they rudely shooed me away. I'll try there as a last resort in future.
