Early Morning Punt Down (was Up) The Bure To Breydon

Had a great morning Tuesday out on Lady Emma with Ian Stewart crewing with me.

A mix of a few photos and videos from the day.

Leaving Acle Marina at 07.00hrs to arrive at Great Yarmouth for low water.

A bit further up the Bure approaching Stokesby.

Moored up for dropping Nav Lights and a quick brew before arriving at Great Yarmouth.

Return run over Breydon Water.

 

 

Plenty of clearance but did drop the aerials and Navigation Mast . Had about 12" clearance above the radar dome under the Yarmouth bridges.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer day. 

I'm back at home now but will be up again Monday/Tuesday.

Need to get a pump out and a bit of fuel. 

I feel an overnight mooring at the Bridge Inn is on the cards

Please forgive me, for being pedantic. But it's DOWN the River Bure to Gt. Yarmouth and Breydon Water and UP the River Bure to Coltishall. Nice footage though...

Just how does one go up the Bure to Breydon at anytime of day let alone early morning?
