I always thought the reason we have flappy's on the Broads, is because they are too tight to buy diesel!

Naaa, more like we are conscious of the deleterious effects of diesel on the environment.

Of course there's the theological reason for the difference...

When Noah got on the ark, which was obviously powered by an inboard BMC 1.5 as evidenced by the lack of sails in any illustrations of the vessel, he quickly noticed that he and his tribe were not alone and that other humans had survived by clinging to floating debris. Noah offered to bring the survivors on board the ark for they were so busy trying to hold their floating piles of junk together to pay attention to where they were going.
