Brundall To Have New Italian

I will wait and see, depends on the menu.Have seen so many Italian restaurants with limited menus, and as a result fall by the way side.

While I agree about limited menu's, it' also worth considering that if a restaurant has an overly large choice, it's often not freshly cooked, or prepared in house. Memories of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares comes to mind.

Gave the Lavender house a go in the past and found the food very nice but the service was all very regimented (we had the taster menu). We were fans of the indian only because it saved the odd trip to Norwich or the Tamarind however the food was average and the place was always cold...the chef did you used to run us home though :default_icon_e_biggrin:. Looking forward to this one and as Speedtriple says I'd far rather see a small menu with a few specials... it usually means a better experience. Lets hope they can turn the heating up in the new year!
