Ah the joy of predictive type I get London every time I type Loddon as well (got it again there )

On a family holiday to Kelling Heath camp site in in North Norfolk, probably 1981 we toured the area by car and pulled in at Ludham Bridge lay-by to watch the boats. Well that was the start, we just had to give it a go so the following year we hired Broom Navigator 2 and the rest as they say is history

Hi Mark we usually moor at Pyes mill ( although there’s no facilities there ) but there is in the basin. White Horse at Chedgrave is a great pub. We usually eat onboard but I’ve seen the meals and they look really nice. It’s well worth the trip to Loddon have a a great time

No need to beat yourself up about this Griff, you didn’t let Robin down. You did everything within your power to make sure your promise was delivered. What happened was out of your control. I understand how you must feel though, I feel the same way if I promise to do anything for others and something goes wrong.

Thanks for sharing with us Chris, you’ve shown and continue to show great courage throughout the past year or so by sharing your concerns and feelings with us. It’s understandable how your boat held too many memories and just didn’t feel right anymore.
