  1. Just drown out the noise of the Webaso with the kettle boiling, the bacon frying and the news on the radio.
  2. What things to shudder at Charlie - I can't remember - I was too drunk.
  3. They are not looking at the floor Robin - they are looking at their phones.
  4. I've moored at NYS many times (not weekends) and never had a problem.
  5. Excellent Bryan - but then I expected nothing less.
  6. I've been trying to think what to say to that post - there is nothing I can say - it says it all.
  7. For 40K - I would expect them to hit every target - every time.
  8. It's now 4.40am here in Bali and I'm off to the airport for my monthly trip out of the country - visa needs. Today it's Singapore, so at least I can have a beer or 2.
  9. Does that mean they can't get a signal on the mobile?
  10. About time you got on board.
  11. We don't want to close the thread and prevent everyone from seeing what has been written - but we will if this continues.
  12. Seamaster, You are not going to offend anyone with your comments, because most, if not all of us agree with you. However, this forum is not the place for a discussion like this. We are the NBN and that is what we should stay as. Enough has been said on this subject now and we should let it rest.
  13. Peeps - Grendel's last sentence says it all. Please - let's drop this Manchester thing. There is nothing we can do about it now.
  14. You're not hanging around Griff. Nice work out for BA.
  15. Dear Lisa, I never had the honour to meet her, except through the forum and she made us smile so often. We are 6,000 miles away here in Bali, but our thoughts are with you.
  16. Very best of luck Rick. If they can see the bits not painted - they are not drinking enough.
  17. Keep the bloody ropes coiled properly and wash up your tea cup. You don't want complaints from above. Enjoy Chris and remember the good times.
  18. Especially if we can let him in with an oar or a boat hook. lol.
  19. Provided you get away from moored boats a.s.a.p. - to avoid engine noise, there is no problem with starting early. 5 or 6 or 7am is always normal for us.
  20. Hi P, We love it for an early crossing on the Sunday morning. Dinner in the Acle Bridge Inn (you need to book), an early night and then up at the crack of dawn. Coffee and bacon butties on the way and you'll be surprised how quick you can do the run to Yarmouth.
