  1. Got a few Bob,won the Euro millions last night.£2.30,problem my ticket was £2.50.
  2. Today is the start of our two weeks on Sweetkingfisher. Not the best weather,hoping for better weather over the two weeks.Still very much looking forward to it.We hope to go from Brundall to Stracy.At some time we are going to meet up with Alan and Dave.Next Friday with Nicola our Daughter and Son in law. We will pick them up from Wroxsham hopfully lunch at the Lion. I will post some picks. Ian.
  3. Think it's long overdue for a re think about the BBC.True some of there programmes are good.Much is not.They form a very small part of overall TV content.
  4. Even though it's close to us at Brundall, we have never been there.The moorings never look good to me for a start.Still never say never.

  7. Loddon and Chegrave well worth a visit.Can highly recommend the Whitehorse at chegrave very good.We always go there.Rockland.Thr New Inn had problems with there card machine. Perhaps give them a call.Coldham hall very good.The Ferry house at Surlingham great pub and food.You won't go hungry.

  10. Yes and no,as a Chef I do enjoy a meal in a good pub or Restaurant. We tend to eat one day on the boat next say eat out.

  13. Yes such a dreadful tragedy for family and friends. My thoughts with them .Let's hope lessons can be learnt from this.
  14. Very true doesn't matter what country they are from.If trained properly and have a passion then cooking becomes second nature. Here's some I did earlier.
  15. Over nearly 50 years I've worked with Chefs from all over the world. Most of which very good.Some however could not cook to save there life.Sadly some in positions of power.Cooking is easy a number of important things.Respect of ingredients.Care,taste,ability to listen,timings.You can teach people to cook,but the trick to producing good food is all of those I've mentioned.
  16. I've worked with Spainards who can't cook Paella and Italians unable to cook Risotto.
  17. Call into Norwich and go to the Tourist centre in the Forum ,which is past the market and in part where BBC is.They will have loads of information there. Welcome Ian.
  18. Our boat doesn't have 1000 Lts, but I still get sweaty hands when I get fuel.
  19. No not quite. Brooms were selling at £1.28 time in July.When I went back the other week.It was£1.10.Due to new fuel from shell.It will depend on how quick there turn over is.

  21. We hope you be there on Saturday, which will be the first day of our holiday.
  22. I don't have problem my wine is always Red,or Scotch.
