  1. Okay today from Stracy we hoped to go to Oulton broad.Went past the cut,and I was concerned with my feet. For some days my left foot then right were swollen. This happened for a few days in July and August. Now both feet and my left leg very swollen. Therefore we returned to Brundall and called the ambulance. Lots of checks, will go back tomorrow for cat scan.Yesterday and today morning,I spat out small amounts of blood.Last week not only my head but I hurt my ribs, that is what they want to check on.Not been the best holiday we've had. However very much want to get this sorted
  2. Not to overstate things. Its true I've not had a easy life. Where ever possible try to help others and will continue to do so as long as I can.
  3. Just over half way into our two week holiday. For many reasons very memorable. Clearly I have had a number of health issues. We were very much looking forward to a break. My disagreement with that bridge, clearly put a downer on things. We still very much want to move up here, and we have signed up with est agents. After checking with hospitals etc,I can call into the walk in centre at Norwich to remove my stitches. I still have other health problems that are still unresolved.Hopefully they can be sorted out quickly. As to be expected my leg has been well and truly be pulled, also I have felt very grateful for some of the kind comments both here and on our travels, of course the story of my mis adventure is now widespread .Many people have been very kind.Sadly I am in a list of bad accidents in this very short season. For me it could have been a lot worse.I sincerely hope the remaining part of the year is better. Many thanks Ian.
  4. I phoned them up a few weeks ago. They stopped doing fuel and pump outs, but still doing water. We moored on at South Walsham last night. We went past this morning but didn't attempt to get water, they were shut and not sure if water turned on.
  5. Last night we were joined by Alan and Dave at South Walsham. We were all packed in tight.Today we at lunch at the Lion and now at Stracy.Tomorrow heading back south.
  6. My thoughts with family and friends. Very sad news.
  7. Paul I wish Jamie all the best and hope all goes well.I agree I have nothing but thanks to the care I have received in hospital, during this very worrying time.I do have issues with our local GP surgery though. They are not doing face to face appointments. For example due to my COPD, my breathing is checked every August. Not this year,I had a phone appointment, question s asked and given a new puffer. My pneumonia was checked out by a Ambulance crew.I would very much like to speak face to face to a Doctor but our surgery is not doing so.Yes covad is a problem, but I fear many will die due to not being seen.
  8. From the moorings to Rose's Lee's, its only a very short walk.Just go across and get it your self.
  9. This past week haven't seen many speeding. Yet seen a number going very slow. For example on the Ant and today heading to South Walsham.
  10. You told me to duck,I've got loads of them.I didn't do it.
  11. Today we are in Wroxsham over night. Tomorrow head for Thurne
  12. Poor Marina cleaned the top deck ,while I was in hospital
  13. The list just keeps getting bigger!
  14. Think the hospital must have known I'm a Chelsea fan.My stitches are Blue!
  15. Is there a reason you don't want to fill the tank up?I keep our tank topped up all season and that way spread the cost.
  16. Yes I made a School boy error and I fully accept my big mistakes. Thanks too for the leg pulling,I knew they were coming.Be aware I will look out for anyone who makes a silly mistake, I will strike, and I won't take prisoners. Sleep tight, here's Jonny(Ian).
  17. When we hired from Silverline.Often our last afternoon/evening was spent at Bramerton. There was perhaps 30 plus ducks. One used to limp, and we saw him for about three years. Not so many there now. There is a little family of ducks at cove, but yes numbers of ducks seemed to have decreased over the last few years.
  18. We are moored at Salhouse,on the outside.Had hoped to get into Horning, but full up.We followed some boats earlier. Think they were only doing 2 MPH. Still here for the night.
  19. Very funny. Today we are going back,to see that dammed bridge This time I will drive from the inside. Not allowed to get my head wet anyway.
  20. My head is sore, but thankfully no headache.Must have whacked my ribs,on my left side.Didnt notice in the hospital bit of pain, but no worse.
  21. This little chap landed on the wrong boot.
