  1. Good afternoon Peter If you go into the Broads Trust Web site broadscharitabletrust.org.uk and click on About Us section there are several years of accounts their I did realize about BA indeed in the 2016/17 accounts it states BA gave them a £10000 grant partly for additional staff!! Ray
  2. I agree that the projects they have supported are very good but it concerned me that around 50% of the donations they received went in Salary costs last year.. That to me seems far to high a percentage, people who support what is a very good idea to raise money for projects that are very worthy would expect the bulk of their donations to be put towards supporting them. Ray
  3. Peter I understand exactly what you mean That thought came to me when looking at the website Ray
  4. Despite visiting the Broads several times a year until this week I had never come across this www.lovethebroads.org.uk It is a spin off from the Broads Trust and raises funds for projects around the Broads Ray
  5. Under planning Legislation there has to be a certain number of affordable houses in most new schemes and certainly all schemes above 10 new properties, numbers and calculations do vary from planning authority to planning authority The Developer also has to pay a community infrastructure charge this again varies but one large property in the village I live attracted a charge of £45000 although the average is around £10000 The money from the charge can be used for schools, play areas roads etc Ray
  6. I would only want to come back as me but with the knowledge I have now. I would make a better go second time round at the same time trying to make my little bit of the world a better place Ray

Soundings I read your original post and totally disagreed with your comments and posted to that effect You stated at the end of your post you where leaving no one on this forum put any pressure on you to make that statement That was you choice You can and should have your say no one disagrees with that provided you comply with TOS Ray
  9. Sorry Soundings totally disagree with you Richardson's provide a value for money service for thousands of holiday makers each year and the Broads would be poorer without them Ray

  20. You seem to be missing point the current tenant as a lease till 2020 it is the freehold not the tenancy for sale Ray
  21. I would agree with Timbo that some of the wording in the letter is direct extracts from planning legisilation What you cannot do with planning is directly compare one permission with another, planning history and any conditions attached to permitted permissions have to be taken into consideration. That is why you need the full information to make a considered comment. Ray
  22. We do I am a planning consultant And am following thread with interest Would however not comment without knowing full facts A lot of what has been posted in my opinion is conjecture BA have however lost around fifty percent of the applications that have gone to appeal in the last year a statistic most authorities would not be happy with Ray
