You could go to Russell Marine. We used them the other week for the first time for pump out and fuel and will definitely use them again.

Exactly why we went for it some years ago. Our plan was always, ‘when we retire’ but after a serious health issue for me and a couple of friends dying so young we realised we needed to live for the day a bit more. We would love a more modern, bigger boat but that’s out of our range at the moment but we are so extremely thankful that we have what we have now. Our bank account could be a lot healthier without the boat costs obviously but at least we are enjoying ourselves and always have something to look forward to (even the imminent maintenance weekend). Enjoy your new addition to the family Biker :)

Listen and watch out for what we think we heard and saw a few days ago, at Fleet Dyke, a common crane. I thought it was a skinny ostrich. I took a terrible picture as I didn’t have my decent camera unfortunately

This wind and rain isn’t fun. Just moored up at How Hill and absolutely soaked. I’d stay tucked up at the marina!

Thank you Mouldy for alerting us to this. Its certainly changed our plans and we will get away from the Ant and Thurne before all this starts. We need a relaxing week, not stress
