I think it must be Stokesby
There was a carpet down in December which threw me. I think they've had a refurb since
The dog could be the old English sheepdog which belongs to the landlady
Solid choice with the Ghost Ship BTW
Enjoy JF and look forward to the piccies and tales of your adventures. Sadly we'll miss you by a couple of weeks. But as you know already, its a magical time to be out. You get a few punters around at half term but you should miss that so you will have the rivers pretty much to yourself. The weather's quite mild at the moment too.
Have a good one.
Oh, and don't forget Grace!!!

Norfolk Railway House. It became the Compleat Angler in the early 70's I believe.
And yes, Vaughan is right about the station. It was known as Thorpe when there were more stations but now just Norwich.
I see we are drifting nicely again!!
JF is on the nail there I think. Mrs Nog has just Googled it and got the same result.
According to Craig's database its had that name since 1992/3 so possibly more than one previous owner??
Fascinating film, I've just been watching it again. Couple of nice nostalgic views of the Bridge Hotel towards the end.
It looks quite good quality, assuming its cine film, bit too early for video I'm guessing?
Best way to serve beer JM straight from the cask
Ha ha, yes loads of them
I've probably tried most beers in Norfolk/Suffolk and quite a few up here in ferret land. But there are loads in other parts I've yet to sample. But I'm working on it
Also I think we have similar tastes for quality beer
