  1. Help, The Blessed Authority have stuck an incorrect penalty notice on a perspex window, needless to say the glue and plastic backing are stuck fast. Whilst I await a humble response from them with a proposal to rectify the damage, any suggestions to remove the glue without damaging the perspex.
  2. Tried that, not sure of the exact description
  3. Yes please, hunted high and low for some. Can I have a couple, don't need more but others might.
  4. Any ideas where they are sold,? Thanks
  5. Unfortunately we will never build enough houses to stabilize the prices, demand will always outstrip supply, the cheaper, relatively, they are the more demand will increase, the more will need to be built.
  6. I find mine the exact opposite, I do have an upholstered box to step on when getting onboard, it doubles as a seat and storage. I am no lightweight but find adjusting my weight rather than hopping on helps. Not had a problem with rain ingress except a little around the screen in heavy rain.
  7. Robin, A nice example with a brand new 20HP mariner https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F232779069294
  8. The traditional first time buyers do up terrace house no longer appeals, DIY skills in the under 30s are vanishing, witness the demise of Homebase and the struggles of B and Q. When I renovate a terrace house now it has to be top quality spec, fully fitted and integrated kitchen, flash bathroom etc. 15 years ago this standard used to be for detached houses only. The problem is these terraced houses don't achieve the return and usually end up with a quick bodge by someone and onto the rental market. Anyone see a similarity between this scenario and wooden boats in the 70s.
  9. I take my private boat recycled waste home, my general rubbish I take to the nearby tip as the boatyard have yet to sort out a viable collection service. Perhaps an increase in the hire boat multiplier should be considered as they will have less waste to dispose of from the yard if hirers are no longer returning it.
  10. Is it worth using the app for andriod ?
  11. Have you booked a Royal Fleet auxiliary tanker to meet you at Reedham
  12. Testing on google chrome, That worked fine. for first emoji but is very unstable for next, the list of emojis disappeared.
  13. Not using the app, as far as I know.
  14. From the drop down box It then freezes the phone and I have to shut the forum, then go back in and carry on. It just stopped completely and I had to go back and open the reply/ posting box again and recover the text and emoji. I use firefox on android. I tried to add another emoji from the classic section and it froze before I managed to select one, same process, close and reopen and recover text. Most odd, no problems posting without emojis, this is a recent, ish problem.;(
  15. They never went out of vogue in Norfolk. :) As a youngster I found it kept girls away, unless it was just me, rather than a shower in Brute 33
  16. Any suggestions welcome. I am having a battle with inserting emojis from the drop down list, I select one and it freezes the phone, I have to close the app and go back in again to post. Using Samsung edge on android. Thanks.
  17. How very yesterday, Brute 33 is the way to impress
  18. Thats how the first 3 models with the four poster evolved. Subsequent models evolved to the twin cabin style. The four poster version has the wash basin in the cockpit area, never really understood that. The standard of joinery on the later model is top class.
  19. Hi 40, I have a electric outboard I use to use, I am fairly sure it would go to stop if I let go of the twist grip, could it be the return spring has gone in your grip ?
  20. Ok , since no one else has asked, which one is the short plank. Sorry , couldn't resist.
  21. Hi Wigster, that model is a strange layout. I have the two cabin model, much more user friendly. They can blow in the high winds at times. I think the engine start problem was probably due to an engineers start switch next to the engine. I had mine removed. Glad it didn't put you off the broads.
