After a nice weekend on the salt we finished up back on the rivers.

Sunday night spent here for those wishing to have a guess? I will add a bit to this in an hour to give those of you with a few grey cells a bit of a work out.

And to cap it all I saw what I think is my first ever Cuckoo - there were loads of them going nuts Sunday/Monday and I actually got a photo (sorry it's on the camera still, this was on the phone).

Go with Keith on this one, is it the flooded dredging besides the Dutch Tea Gardens 24hr mooring in Oulton Dyke. The sun is setting in the right place too.

Ok most of you are right. Rockland broad. 

Just round the corner from the bird hide. Gorgeous evening on way back from the pub. 

We walked back down to the hide Monday morning and the whole broad was alive with spawning bream. Never seen it so mad. Good to see plenty of fish around which is always a nice healthy sign.
