NorfolkNog
Good news, hopefully. The key with Enterprise is watch your back!
Gracie
That is good news and good luck to them. Let's hope they are successful. There are so many beautiful old pubs and Inns in my part of the world that are closing because people are not using them, use em or lose em as the saying goes We have a Whetherspoons just opened in our little town, although it's quite pleasant and cheap as chips it doesn't have that rustic charm and personal service. The staff at a little country pub we use make you feel like the bees knees as soon as you walk through the door, cheap as chips or that warm friendly feeling, I know which I'd choose Grace 5

Labrador
Enterprise changed their name to EI as it stands for 'exit imminent'. If you fail - out If you do well they up the rents etc. - out If you do really well - they chuck you out. 3
Wonderwall
I certainly contribute to riverside pubs when im lucky enough to get to the broads!! The broads cannot afford to lose many more, but you just need to look at the carry outs aboard some craft , to see where the problem is.
NorfolkNog
Sad but true. You'll never find a drop of booze on my boat!

Even so, there’s nothing like a freshly pulled pint - or half in my case.
Gracie
Personally I don't think there's any harm in having a drink on the boat. We always use the pubs at lunch time and then a couple of glasses of something nice in the evenings, best of both really. What is a tad annoying is people mooring at a pub and eating and drinking on board, if you're going to moor at a pub then use the pub Grace

I bet you have loads of beer on board, alright, you may have just drunk it in the nearest pub. It's a sort of internal takeaway.
Wonderwall
I do like a few tins when fishing, but as Grace said, if I am moored outside a pub, its only polite to pop in and say hello.
MBA Marine
I am very happy to see the place re-open but it's bittersweet, My friends lost their jobs with a weeks notice, a great team were torn apart and have sort employment elsewhere. Good luck to the new management, the past is not your doing and I wish you success.

Paul
It appears that all the "comments" regarding Enterprise and their motivation for the original closure made on the "closing" thread are being borne out.
