Guest
Tuesday 11th December A different sort of day today. It began with a cool frosty morning, my thermometer reading -3°C here in Brundall. The usual dog walking and coffee was followed by a hot shower, and then it was time for me to temporarily leave everything behind for the day and begin to get back in the car and travel from this Back along the A roads, managing to get stuck being Articulated lorries, farm machinery, tractors, horse transporters, oh and a crane. The journey took much longer than usual but I eventually reached home (I don't live in the trees but it's my view from the front garden, a much better sight than an old brick house) After sorting a few bits and bobs ready for when I could return to the boat later, it was time to pick up "The Boy" from school. Once collected we then made the long, slow journey (although that implies at some time we actually moved which didn't seem to happen at all) over to Liverpool City Centre to join up with the other mass rabble, and travel to here To take our usual place in the Kop, for this. Honestly, if we missed a match my boy would never forgive me, oh and it's my passion too so leaving the boat for one day wasn't too tough After beating Napoli, and qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League, (I'll not ask how that's working for Arsenal Grace, we can discuss it some more later on ) it was time to make the return journey home with a sore throat, and my voice having been lost somewhere around the 86th minute. Around 0130 we arrived back here (Oooooohhhhhh Spooky) And after a quick hours nap, I left to complete the final part of the trip. All in all it was 554 miles of congestion and fun, but it's lovely to back on board to be met with some stunning "scenery" , oh and this. So it's time for a really strong cup of coffee, and I suppose the Little Princess will be having the usual coffee, not very strong, tiny bit of sugar and some milk? Gracie
Finally you got the coffee right, it was lovely darling, thank you I totally refuse to discuss football with you unless you try and explain the offside rule to me again. How many times is that now? Grace

Guest
Ok the long awaited selfie coming up, but seriously, you'd think when you'd lost your voice already you wouldn't still be sticking your head out of the helm roof singing at the top of your voice you haven't got. Hi @YnysMon And give me a break, I did this whilst underway what do you professional results whilst travelling down the river.

SwanR
Amazing photos Jay. But what dedication for the football. Complete madness but when the team hubby supports almost went out of existence a couple of years ago I really saw the passion and ownership that the fans have. Thank you as ever Jean I was a member of the protesting supporters to stop the institution of Liverpool who were "moments" away from administration under Gillette and Hicks, fortunately we survived and live in better times once again as a club. At the end of the day, players and managers come and go, but the supporters and the club are what are always there. Well except all the plastic clubs that were nothing until bought by billionaires but remain a nothingness. Ooh let's not get me started on football.. wombat nee blownup
I don't think too many people are aware but the Fishermans at Burgh Castle is now open permanently all year round and run by Joe who tried to make a go of the Berney a couple of years ago. I just thought of that because " nos. 2" (not that nos.2) reminded me of it. Is that North Cove or worlingham?

Guest
The Three Horseshoes at North Cove What a fantastic pub, loved it and it gets a great big from me. Cosy, friendly lovely fire burning and a great pint of San Miguel. And what is it with all these pubs, the barmaids are just so so friendly all the time? Great evening, give it a shot. Actually don't, leave it so I can go
