BroadAmbition
I really don't get this one iota. Surely we all know it is the Welsh that are associated with sheep. Tykes are associated with Gods Country, Flat caps, whippets, proper beer, straight talking and not suffering fools gladly. Trying to make out that Tykes are taking over from the Welsh where sheep is concerned is just plain daft Griff

I think perhaps JM was applying a bit of poetic licence! (he is from Suffolk tha knows)

HEM
Looking a bit sheepish... Actually I was unsure whether that was a sheep or some breed of sheepdog he was carrying...

BroadAmbition
Eeee, Bah Gum. Apparently that is what some clubbers are doing in Yorkshire nightclubs. Injecting 'E' directly into their gums. A practise known as 'E by Gum' Griff 1
JennyMorgan
I'm sure that I heard a well known gentleman of Yorkshire admit that he liked mountain sheep!
HEM
I'm from Yorkshire & am partial to a bit of lamb - like leg stuffed with apricot stuffing. Curiously many Germans claim not to like lamb but luckily my wife does - daughter also.

Thiswan
Hey, leave the Welsh alone! It's funny how home countries folks have the rise taken out of them Norfolk included ,but try it when the recipient is a West Indian or a Pakistani or other and everyone is up in arms, same with religion you can say what you like if it's directed at a Christian not so easy to mickey take some others! Who wrote all these rules anyway?

stumpy
Speaking as a Suffolk boy who's just returned from a quick trip to Scarborough, there's a lot of sheep up there - just not many pretty ones. I didn't miss my wellies and bit of baler twine! 1
