Mobile Coverage

For the Americans among us please read “cellphone” coverage. Ha ha. Any old how, are there anybody peeps out there on O2 ? and what is the reception like across the broads and surrounding please? Cheers m’dears.

Typing this from loddon on an O2 mifi thingie, not yet found anywhere with no coverage, though it can get a bit slow in places (eg salhouse)

And I recently used one of trumps favourite mifi gadgets with a "3" sim without a problem all over the Broads.

Just using the phones on their own it is hit and miss all around Norwich/ Norfolk. 

One on 02 and other on EE, both Galaxy S7. Tablet is much the same.

I’m on O2 and have good coverage almost everywhere. Hubby switched from EE as that was a lot worse at the time.

O2 seems reasonable these days actually. Maybe not always the fastest data speeds, but it seems to have decent coverage.

My work phone is on O2 and seems to have signal most places whereas my own (Vodafone) doesn't always quite manage it. EE doesn't seem any better than Vodafone, particularly when you consider how much of a premium they charge for their 'superior' network.

Asda piggy back off EE I believe 

I pay my 02 bill and the other phone goes through the company.

Remove back cover and battery and completely cover in uncooked rice.

It's been sitting in a nice warm engine bay for two days, all of the dampness telltales are red, including the one on the battery. I needed a new one sometime anyway.

Yes though the notes had to be dried, at least as the water wasn't clean I can't be accused of money laundering.

. Where I'm moored in Brundall the only phone signal I can get is Vodafone so we've both had to switch to that. The only problem is their App and call center are both absolutely diabolical.

 

If I hear the phrase "I will surely help you with that Mr Steve" ever again it will be too soon

Sorry to resurrect such an old one, but I'm looking for a new phone and switch from EE. I'm moored in Brundall too and I wonder if you're still with vodafone and happyt?
