We are away next Friday celebrating out latest grandson's 1st birthday. Bern has kindly agreed to step into the breach and do next week's quiz.  The only downside is that we will miss one of Bern's quizzes and they are very good.

Last nights quiz results are as follows;

4th on 12 points Mike, 3rd on 13 points Grendel and tied on 17 were Polly and Speedtriple.

The winner after the tie break conundrum was Polly but as she is otherwise engaged next Friday Neil has agreed to host.

Hi all, 

Unfortunately, I won't be able to set the quiz this Friday, as Karen and I will be very busy getting things here ready on Friday night ready for things going on on Saturday. We both work full time, so the only time we have is Thursday and Friday evenings. If someone could stand in for me, I will be happy to set one in a couple of weeks or so?.

As I couldn't make it last Friday and Bern stepped into the breach, I am happy to do the same tomorrow.  I will post topics tomorrow (Friday) morning.

Tonight's very tightly contested quiz ended in a tie-break between Polly and Nigel, which Polly won by a matter of a few micro-seconds, so Polly will be QM next week.Thanks to all who attended.
