Gracie
I am so loving this thread. I didn't realise how much work goes into making it all happen. Well done to Liz for providing all those breakfasts too x
LizG
It is a mammoth operation involving so many volunteers. There is a family team the 'Fields' who man the radios and computers all day and night and morning. They sort out the radios Then there is the Race Officer, the race committee who plan it all, buy all the merchandise etc. Guard ships and their crews etc etc. Anyone on FB there are at least two dedicated groups with loads of pictures and videos. Search There Rivers Race! I should be asleep but need to wind down after the first rather busy shift. Several of the big boats came in with several crew coming in for breakfast this year. Last year they went to the pub and came back in the morning!!!

Turnoar
Everyone’s a finisher judging by the provisional results on fb. White boat first followed by a mash of classes from dinghies to the bigger keels. Optimum conditions for most!
Turnoar
Ignore my previous post folks, there is a second results page with some retired and also one boat that is already, albeit provisionally, placed on the first page so could be awaiting moderation or a protest even!
