10B
Quote "There will be a lot of boats for sale when the age limit is 54 to navigate the system," Can somebody please enlighten me here, I have no idea what this is all about! Sorry, my quote was supposed to be light hearted, I was not expecting it to cause another recall of parliament.
MauriceMynah
No 10B, it is for ME to apologize, I'm a bit slow on the uptake just now.
BroadScot
I was told years ago the NSBA stood for No Such Boats Allowed, or something like that Iain
JennyMorgan
Well, here's the basic reality, apparently the idea is that the Authority wanted to speak to 600 private toll payers, broken down by segments to reflect the tolls structure. So there was a need to speak to some youngsters, some relics, some sailors, some gin palace owners, etc, etc. in proportions that reflect the proportions found on the tolls database. The Authority was advised that a sample of that size would be sufficiently representative. Hopefully Authority officers have had no input into what questions have been asked and that previous criticisms that leading questions are asked have been noted! Chelsea14Ian
I am over 54 does that mean I don't have to pay tolls anymore,or is that wishful thinking? Ian
Matt
Those that feel left out should read broadsheet for details of how to complete the survey:http://www.broads-authority.gov.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0007/499363/Broad-Sheet-Sept-2014.pdf
