stumpy
Hi all! I've resurrected myself on here from years ago for the same reasons as the other absent friends. Only downside I can see is more folk to wave to when we finally get back on the water. Its been a bad summer as we've had to stay within striking distance of BSE but all over now. So let's hope for an Indian summer!

ranworthbreeze
Hello Stumpy, Welcome back to the forum from Tan & myself. Sorry to hear about the BSE, I had a contract in the North East when they had a outbreak a few years ago, the measures enforced, caused problems on the roads and the sight of empty fields was depressing. When are you next down to the Broads? Regards Alan
stumpy
Thanks for the welcome guys. Alan - not bovine encephalitis but Suffolk speak for Bury St. Edmund's lol - Kathy's dad been in & out of hospital since late June. He crossed the bar early hours of Sat 30th then the fun part really started!

MauriceMynah
That reminds me of the chap in a pub explaining to me the difference between BSE and PMT. As he said, "One's mad cow disease, the other is an agricultural problem." Puts on tin hat and runs off to hide.
