Guest
I think it would be a shame to drop the idea, but agree that interest has been a bit lukewarm. Peter, I'm sure you have enough photos of your own to make up a dozen calendars so how about posting a few - they might spark a bit more enthusiasm. One more from me. JennyMorgan
Spider, superb! Thanks for setting the bar for others to follow.
littlesprite
People shouldn't confuse lack of interest with lack of talent, or lack of a decent camera. These were taken on a point and snap camera, no fancy lenses, low/poor quality end result, ok for holiday snaps but not exactly calendar quality.
BroadScot
Ah yes that fish!! Iain
JennyMorgan
Martin, that 'snap' of the river at Burgh is rather good! I've had several snaps, taken on a point & shoot Kodak Super Crap-py Snappy Camera, used on calendars and in various magazines. It's more the man than it is the camera! I don't know, nor want to know, what sort of camera Spider used for his wonderfully evocative picture of the Three Rivers Race, that's an unimportant incidental.

JennyMorgan
David, love the 'cow' one, so fortunate that the brown one squeezed in between the others.

deebee29
David, love the 'cow' one, so fortunate that the brown one squeezed in between the others. That was just last week (2nd Oct), they seemed to be watching the fish the water was so clear and teaming with them
Guest
Spider, superb! Thanks for setting the bar for others to follow. Much as I would like to, I can't claim credit for that photo. It was taken by one of the junior Spiders, I believe on a friend's camera. I won't tell him though, don't want to give him another reason to feel superior

JennyMorgan
Big Spider, might there then be problems if Little Spider has a picture in our calendar but the Big one doesn't? M, my sort of picture, nice one.
SPEEDTRIPLE
I think the calander is going to look excellent. I don`t know if it`s too late, but would it be a good idea to try and sell some in the riverside shops, is is that not possible for any reason?.
JennyMorgan
I'm aiming to keep the price low. Selling in a shop needs a cost to cover unsold stock plus provide a profit to the retailer but yes, it's perfectly possible.
BroadScot
Come on folks get some more pics in so JM can make his mind up. Oh and mine also, the calender will add to my christmas stocking filler list! Iain.

CooWee
Some nice photographs out there; of the David Collection I think I would pick 5 and 7. I like yours too M. Sunsets, sunrises along with nice clouds and landscapes, seascapes work for me. I would purchase a calendar if they become a reality. Guest
Big Spider, might there then be problems if Little Spider has a picture in our calendar but the Big one doesn't? These days Little Spider is bigger than Big Spider. So no, there won't be any problems.
