Keeping All of these Sockets, Plugs etc tidy

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to keep the ever increasing number of cigar type connectors , phone, laptop etc and then all of the mains connectors etc tidy.  At the moment ours are in a drawer and they do rather like to get tangled up together.    Personally I would like to label them all and keep them in a box with sections.   Cannot be too big as restricted for space but anything has to be an improvement on the pullover that is being knitted in the drawer.   Please.

I use a cig lighter plug with twin USB power sockets, so I can charge two things at once.

I then have a pair of those ten way USB multi adapters with plugs to fit almost every phone or small portable device. They're quite short, so don't get tangled. I can then charge any two items at once, from a single cig lighter socket.

Total cost, just under a fiver.

It doesn't work for greater than 12v devices like notebooks though, but most tablets and many cameras come with a USB charging lead, which also fits in the same cig lighter/usb adapter.

I use Chinese takeaway containers, several can be stored in the box, they stack well, and provide some moisture protection.

You can write on the lid too.

I often press these containers into service for other jobs too.

I also bought a 4 way cigar socket adaptor from Aldi, it also has two USB power outputs.

It has a switch and an LED so items can be left plugged in, with one master switch.

I have eliminated my plug-in USB adaptors by replacing my twin 13 Amp sockets with new ones that have two USB charging sockets built in. I also have a twin USB charging adaptor permanently fitted into my cigar lighter socket for charging and powering equipment when the boat is not on shore power.  I tame my cables by rolling them up and storing them in clear "zip-loc" polybags, which I keep in a drawer on the boat.

cheers

I thought about those mains sockets with built in adapters, but I found a multi outlet plug to be more versatile, and much cheaper too.

A single 13 amp plug adapter with four usb charging sockets for just under £5, and it can be used in any socket in the house, caravan, or boat. :)

Together with my multi plug USB leads, the combination of one of these plugs and the dual cigar lighter USB adapter, I can charge almost any phone, satnav, mp3 player, camera etc.. with minimal bits to lose or get tangled.

try some of these and a USB adaptor  search E Bay for retractable usb leads

The retractable USB charging leads can also be found complete  with the universal 10 way adapter end, like this one on ebay:

I keep one like that in the car, as the extra length let's me use the phone/satnav etc while it's charging.
